I will complete my Associates in Arts degree in the fall of 2015, and I am an upcoming English Education major at University of North Florida.
Experience
I am currently an English, grammar, and writing tutor at Florida State College of Jacksonville. I have been a tutor for one year, but have excelled in all of the provided English courses for the completion of my degree including English composition one and two, and American Literature. I will also complete an advanced English course in the upcoming fall semester. Being an English tutor has not only helped me in pursuing my career as an English teacher, but has also opened my eyes to working with various age groups, ranging anywhere from middle school aged children to adults in their early 60's. I wake up every morning looking forward to helping more and more people in their English/grammar skills.

Hobbies
When I am not at work or school, I am often found at home with my family, or relaxing with a book in my hand. I have also recently interned in a few classrooms for fourth grade, fifth grade, and high school teachers. I enjoy working with various aged children, because they often teach me as much as I teach them. Before officially tutoring students, I would like to meet with both the student and the guardian(s), at no additional charge.
